This report is a continuation of the Meaningful Consumption trend report in which one trend (Accesspecation) was chosen to identify and conceptualize future opportunities for a chosen brand: GoodLife Fitness, Canada’s largest health club. The concepts detailed in the report consider the current and future potential of the health and fitness sector and explore how GoodLife Fitness could leverage emerging technologies to deliver new value to its customers, introduce new revenue streams and create new brand equity.

Approach

In order to identify future opportunities for Goodlife Fitness it was imperative to first gain a deep understanding of the GoodLife business model, the Goodlife brand and the market as a whole. Frameworks were developed to provide roadmaps for understanding the brand in its current state, and the strategic possibilities of what it could become leveraging emerging behaviours and technologies.
Our team developed a number of opportunities that position Goodlife Fitness to reimagine the fitness sector and shape the future of health and wellness. Future scenarios were written to imagine the brand beyond its current product/service offerings and to understand the possibilities provided.
