Obtaining a BD in Industrial Design from OCADU I’ve had the opportunity to explore and develop a well rounded foundation of skills across the many competencies of design including: research methodologies, form development, fabrication techniques, material applications, interaction design, systems design, design strategy and strategic foresight. It was through this exploration that I discovered the fundamental reason why I was compelled to the discipline of design. 

It’s because above all, design at its core is about being human. Design guides our perception of the world; graces life with beauty; acquaints us with new experiences; empowers us to imagine possibilities and becomes an extension of our own selves. It’s our responsibility to embrace the latent potential of design to understand the physical, social and spiritual compass of the human being and deliver transformative products, experiences and business models.

I’m passionate about identifying opportunities from human behaviour and emerging technologies to create impactful strategies and business models. Through research methodologies, trend forecasting and opportunity mapping I connect insights to business goals.

I’m excited about big picture thinking, innovation and solving complex problems. I’m a conceptual thinker and very comfortable with ambiguity. Having co-founded several ventures in various industries I understand the importance of maintaining balance between the theoretical and analytical. I’ve developed the ability to take abstract ideas and opportunities and ground them to meet both short-term and long-term business goals.
